His short video with his friends hyping him as he delivered an effortless, energetic, punchy and confident verse got social media talking with everyone asking the ultimate question, ''Who is he?''
And like anything viral, the word of mouth began to spread from a few to plenty, attracting interest from some music bigwigs and label executives who were in awe of his talent.
His popularity had grown strongly in a very short while, his followers tripled within days and barely a week since the video went viral, the rapper has now pitched a tent with indigenous rapper Olamide's YBNL label.
Cursorily, this looks like a perfect fit as Picazo reminds you of the younger version of Olamide who burst onto the scene with 'Eni Duro' .
Olamide took to his Instagram page to announce the deal with an image of the artist with the caption ''signed'' .
While the young rapper also posted an image that had the words, ''Industry ti gbalejo'' (The industry welcomes a visitor).
It will be exciting to see how well Picazo's career develops under Olamide's mentorship seeing the role he has played in the success of artists like
