Earlier today the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP ) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, was in a closed-door meeting with Peter Obi at his Asokoro home in Abuja. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, after the meeting, picked the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, as his running mate ahead of the 2019 general elections. Obi emerged the preferred choice of both the party and the candidate after series of consultations by stakeholders in the party and outside it. It was gathered that Obi’s name and that of Atiku will be sent to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) next week. Share This:
